BOTTOM SEALS

Garage door bottom seals, also known as weather strips, are found attached to bottom panel of the garage door. Flexible vinyl bottom seal conforms to uneven floors and blocks out the elements and closes the gap between the door and the floor. The purpose of the bottom seal is to keep out driven rain, excess water, pests, dust and pollen. It will also help your garage door metal cables from rusting caused by moisture and water. In addition, bottom seals help keep out hot or cold air from seeping through the cracks from the bottom of your garage door, keeping your garage cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

If you notice water seeping in from the bottom of your closed garage door or mice taking up residents, your garage door bottom seal may have a tear and it is time to replace it. Give us a call to have it replaced.
